|DIY4X||We have a pretty good stock pile of tubing bent and ready to be notched for our tube doors. Good time to get an order in, you wouldn't have to wait very long.|

|DIY4X||Lots of tube doors.... Well, not in stock but a lot of tube cut and hinge plates ready to weld up. Wouldn't take us to long to knock you out a set.|

I've often said, that is one of the hardest parts of this biz. Having all the trucks you need for the R and D.

I understand that this thread is all about tube doors for Chevy trucks..... But since all of my crawlers are Dodge 2nd Gen trucks.... Have you ever built tube doors for a 2nd Gen Dodge truck?? If so... Or not.. Do you think you'd be able to make a 3-piece set for a QuadCab with one part being the front doors.... A one piece vertical bar that has the striker pins for both front and back doors.... And the final piece being the rear replacement tube doors themselves??? If you did... Those would be EXTREMELY popular for guys like me that take their family wheeling in QuadCab trucks!!
Just a thought for you!
Thanks and I look forward to your response! (Please PM me)

I was asked today, "How long does it take to get a set of tube doors out the door?"
Lately we've been doing it in record time. A week or a hair more.
Our goal this year is to keep that lead time down to less than a week.

|DIY4X||I believe we have one set of tube doors that isn't spoken for. Built a small batch of them last day or so and all but one, gone by the time we were finishing up the tube work.|

As predicted, the lead times are pretty long again. Breaking all sorts of records with tube doors sales this spring.
Appreciate that biz! You're keeping us pretty damn busy.

We're starting to get the lead times down on these. I got a feeling it won't stay that way for long.
Working on a new cup holder now.

Our doors include a new striker which is very similar to the stock striker. Longer in the throat area.
You can switch back and forth between doors though. Changing out a striker is pretty easy. If you do some marking, not hard to get the doors on with minimal adjustment needed.
