Dana 44 full time conversion

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this thread but it is the best that I found.

I am making snow tracks for my senior mechanical engineering technology project and the main vehicle I am designing them for is my 1971 K10 Chummins Suburban. It currently has the part time 4x4 Dana 44 front and it is proving very difficult to design a live hub to bolt over the 4x4 hub to support the track suspension.

Has anyone seen a full time conversion for the Dana 44 that removes or makes the hub much smaller? If it involves axle shaft swaps and spindle swaps that is fine. Just looking for someone that has info on this.
