No Iíll be just running coilovers on trailing arms and hopefully use the other mount for sway bar attachment. With the backseat in there I canít fit mounts for two shocks. In the spirit of legends class buggyís, I think Iíll be good. Iíll be running Fox 14Ē dsc remotes or piggybacks

sickboyboone Went to the hammers last week. Chocolate thunder whipped my ass. Broke a rear axle yoke at the axle and a front stub shaft.

sickboyboone Little performance report. Went out Sunday, few hours and never got over 195. And the bumpstops; HOLY FUCK! They made such a difference it was amazing. Lightened my spring rate a tad when I put em in. Itís amazing. I never would have thought man. Itís like a triple rate spring and no harsh bottom outs now Iím so stoked. Iím ordering up part tomorrow for the rear trailing arm setup, I already started on the ruffstuff trailing arms.

scO44 Gotcha, I was looking at doing the same thing mounting on the tie rod bolt. Problem is the pitman would need to be around 7.5Ē cl. Iíll probably just drill and mount further back on the arm like you did.

Thanks

Itís a fairly long pitman, I had it tied in to the tie rod bolt on top of the high steer arms, I moved it inward and now I can get steering from stop to stop. Problem is my assist cylinder is and 8Ē and my tie rod moves more like 9Ē because of where itís mounted. So my cylinder is actually whatís limiting me. If I want more, Iíll have to get a 10Ē cylinder and build an internal stop for it.

Finally got my bumpstops in the front. Ordered limit straps. Once they are in Iím done with the front. Time to start my trailing arms for the rear

Not much to post, seems to be stayin WAY cool now.
Climbed this chunk of concrete. Gonna try and go out tomorrow and try to say dry.

Got more steering now. Making use of all 8Ē of stroke on my assist cylinder.

Insert stroke jokes here....

Still if I had 1/2 inch more stroke Iíd have sick steering

Ask my wife

I was under the impression that blocking it made it run hot and bypass was ok...
found my fan was running wrong way and this fan can only be used as a puller due to blade design

sickboyboone Well, I took the jeep to the desert, Spangler hills outside of ridgecrest this weekend. Drove it through the desert with some bikes and rzrs over to jawbone canyon store, bout a 60 mile trip. Jeep did ok, had some heating issues. Drove it back to camp on the highway. this thing will do 80 on the highway with no issues. Drives great. Will need a sway bar in front though. Rear end bucks pretty hard on big whoops, Iím gonna get new shafts for my FOAs and use them in the rear to link it. Drinks a lot of fuel now. Overheating issue should be fixed, found out my fan was turning the wrong way, fuckin rookie mistake. Need to fix my steering so I get my full radius, I got a plan should work. All in all some good seat time.
