Results don't matter. Pageantry matters. Get with it.

We should also pull out of the "lead free" electronic parts bullshit. It's caused us huge problems. All the lead free shit has to be dipped in lead solder before being installed on a circuit card. If you don't do that you get tin whiskers that flake off and short stuff out. Not much of a problem with consumer shit, but a huge problem with military equipment. Greatly increases to cost.

Exactly. Reducing emissions and this stupid agreement aren't mutually exclusive. Too many people think that it is for some reason.

That's what I find so amazing...that these so called smart folks can't see that.

I guess they drank too much of Obama's cool aid.

No the world just lost it's sugar daddy and they are pissed they have to start paying for stuff themselves. Why are you not pissed that we have to do the heavy regulatory lifting but china can wait till 2030?

Technically we are not part of the paris accord (ever see this on the MS news?) because it was never ratified. obama signed an executive order. That is not how treaties are executed. The obama administration argued that the paris accord is not a treaty but rather an executive agreement between President Obama and other nations. The President cannot bind the country with an executive agreement; he can only bind his administration.

The Paris Agreement is either an unratified treaty—in which case it has no effect—or it is an agreement only with the Obama Administration—in which case it is only valid for the nine months until his administration ended. Either way we are not part of the accord the moment obama left office. But since the MSM keeps saying we are part of it and not the truth everybody is saying we pulled out. We were never part of it after obama left. Had obama did it the right way we would still be part of the agrement but since obama knew better then anyone else, and thought that hillary would carry on this charade he just did it his way instead of the right way. Can you imagine the shitstorm that would happen if trump started signing "executive agreements" with other countries?

Hate to tell you this, but your boy did his best to erase any and all good will we had left after 2 decades of a war on ideas (that was introduced and pushed by BOTH sides of the aisle).

At least Trump is looking out for America. We, as a nation already finance too much shit that doesn't benefit us.

Fuck 'em.

Depending on who you are. Since when do bankers care about the climate? Maybe they set it up where they're on the receiving end of the $100 trillion dollars. You guys think I'm crazy, but if you'd use some simple reasoning, I think you too would see my conclusion.

Fiscal responsibility to a leftist means extraordinary tax hikes while radically increasing spending. So to a leftist, he's responsible.
