So the shocks now need to be replaced. I am looking for a breakdown so I can order the right shock.
This is a pavement pounder pretty work truck.
I looked on the rancho site to try and find an appropriate shock to cross reference, but no luck.
Below are the dimensions.
Current shocks are tagged by a company no longer in existence..
Suggestions on finding the right shock?
Edit: Superlift 85280 appear correct dims.

Well, I guess I am in NC, so the redneck is normal...
When I put in the D60, I got new U-Bolts, but for some reason one of them galled and so I had to use one of the original D44 ubolts.
Well, it is rotted thru enough that I neither want to, not can, use it.
Since every decent shop is closed I can't get a replacement, but needed to be able to move the truck around, so Allthread to the the rescue.
I won't drive on the street this way, but it is safe to move around the driveway.
I will stop at a spring shop tomorrow to get a new set (all 4) ubolts and replace them all.
As for pulling the leaf, I am sitting 44 1/8th on the rear, 44 on the front. Not as much nose down as I had hoped, but better than the Carolina Squat it had.

If I do that I will change out the front spring hanger for the rear springs and install 3" leafs and eliminate these fawkin' 2.25" leafs....
But they are all stock, so if you are familiar with ford shit you know what they look like.

Which leaf to pull?
Back in 2011 I built my 71 F250 4x4... I had the ultimate plan of 4BT/6BT installation, but 4 jobs and 3 houses later I gotta admit probably not gonna happen any time soon.
In prep for that swap I installed an HP D60 and some '99 Superduty front leafs. The truck sat a bit nose high, but I also the realize 360 is not the weight of the 6BT, so I figured no big deal as I assumed they would settle and soften. I was wrong.
Now that I have come to realize the 6BT isn't going to happen any time soon I need to get the nose back where it belongs... and additionally I now live in NC and the 'Carolina Squat' is too for me.
So, the front leaf packs are 5 leaf, no military wrap. Rears are all factory, no overloads, no mods.
I have never pulled a leaf in a factory pack before, so new territory for me.
What is the correct leaf to pull? I Need to drop the front about 2 inches total. I am hoping for both dropping the nose and making the front end a bit less harsh.
