Just about every tire manufacturer that has a tire in the 42Ī" category has a tire in the 37" and 40" category...... The Growler has what, a 35" and jumps to a 47"? PBRR's go from 37" to 41.5" and the 41.5" are a 13.50 wide and a big tire..... If I could score some 20" beadlocks I would be on board for the 41.5's.

I know in snow you want a lot of sidewall but I prefer a smaller sidewall for rocks (Especially in Moab or me new favorite place SH) and the little bit of street wheelin I do.

Meanwhile, I will be following all these new 40" tire threads to see how they proceed with traction and sidewall strength. Something important on our AZ trails.

Also, reading about peeps getting 40k miles out of a 4D MT on their 2500 whatever truck is not what I like to hear since I plan on using them primarily offroad and want softer rubber.....

Meanwhile I will be impatiently waiting on the PBRR 4D.....

Rumor has it the 40" RR will be 14.50 wide so I'm hoping they are a skinny 14.50 or they use the same measuring tape as they use for the height of the bias PBR's.....

I'd also like to see a 39-40xnormal width pitbull radial (a growler or rocker) seems like with the JK's that the 37s and 40s in a street able tire are getting more popular.
I think Savvy offroad could get the 38 stickies. Not sure theyre evening being made any more.

I'm surprised that they had them in the system at Americas tire, I have never seen them listed on 5hirr website.

Wilson Tire rack was where i ordered mine from as well. I had wanted to see one in person, to gauge true size and just get a feel for them, but could not.

The new Toyo copies are barely out and I've already heard more about them than the old style that's been out for ~12+ years.

YotaAtieToo I clicked it and didn't see any pics.....

That's a lot of tires for one guy. Do they make those in a 40 yet?

The STT pros hook up great!!!! watching other rigs I wheel with running other tires and reading reviews on an STT pro thread with a guy claiming ďthey are the stickiest non stickyĒ I can probably agree.

I have cut one though. Itís weird, Iíve literally dragged them across rocks and went wow how did that not cut! Then all of a sudden on something minor I got a tiny tear in the sidewall that took a plug or two. I was surprised since Iíve dragged them through much worse stuff. Does being 6k lbs and Load range C cause that? Idk any thoughts?
