|Bgcj5||I am running a ford t-18 adapted to a dana 300. It should work out great as both the motor and tranny is ford so u can use all stock parts. Make sure u get the 164 tooth flywheel from and F150 or 250 u can't use any of the mustang clutch stuff.|

I can't see why a jeep 20 can't be used.
If you wnet with the ford one and a ford Np435 you would not need to purchase an adapter.
(not sure of the input differences between jeep and ford 20's)

you can use a C6 to a 203/205 doubler. I have a 5.0HO to C4 to D20 in my EB with dual 60s and 38.5s. I would definitely consider the D20 to be my weak link. I'll probably just go atlas eventually.

5.0 H.O. engine swap???
I have a 89 Mercury Grand Marquis with a fuel injected 5.0 H.O. that was given to me, it is wrecked. The motor runs like a clock. I just purchased a 73 CJ-5 that will be stretched 13" and put on a 81 CJ-5 frame SOA that was also strecthed 13". The plan was to use my 3/4 ton Suburban drivetrain but the 350 is not fuel injected (and it works damn good for hunting). What do I need to make the 5.0 swap? What are my tranny and transfer case options? I will be running 60's front and rear. The front is a passenger side drop (GM). Some help would greatly be appreciated. I am getting my rear axle tomorrow and am getting to the point of installing the drivetrain on the frame!!!
