weswes01 My last comment was to the Nokian’s.

I have a connection for the AT405. Just need to find a home 50 pieces.

I did see some where the tread pattern did not line up at the mold seams. I am trying to make sure that’s not the case on all of these.

mtsnowrunner I can probably make a few sets of them get gobbled up.

Are you referring to the nokians, or the AT405s.
If you find a way to get the tires here, you might be able to set up a escrow account. So people could put money in to make sure you get enough people. And if you didnt then people get their money back.

from what i've been told from our nokian rep, the 44" hakka will never be sold in North America i don't even know if you could get them imported?
02-12-2020 04:33 PM
weswes01 It looks like those tires come from a different factory. I also have a few emails into them. So far no one from the US division knows how to get them

If you're going to spear head this, I'd suggest padding the price a little bit. That way if a few guys flake you aren't totally screwed. Best case you end up with a free set of tires for your work.

I am still interested. Where are you located? Where would you have them shipped to? Are you going to sell them? Feel free to PM for my phone number. There would be a lot of guys here in WA interested.

YotaAtieToo 10-13 people may be possible to round up.

I wish I had the right rig for these, I'd probably be down to try them.
@86chevyjoe needs these on his gyzr

Itís i kinda hard to email the Chinese lol.

Arctic trucks wanted $700 a tire.
OK, well I figured you could fit roughly 100 tires in a container, hard to calculate, because of how they could be nested and compressed, but whatever.

100 tires is $20k and you need to sell 20 to 25 sets.

I'd think you'd have to sell them around $400 ea to get enough buyers, but that could potentially double your money.

It just depends on if you have the time, patience and money to do it.

YotaAtieToo Man the rim protector just about kills it for me. I've had tires with them before that would burp air like crazy at anything below 6 lbs. Hopefully these don't have the same fate.

What do you need a rim protector on a dedicated snow tire for?

Hoe many fit in a container or what's the total price?
12-31-2019 08:21 AM
weswes01 Do you know someone that will accept that many tires?

ToyotaJeep AT405 Radial > 4x4 Off Roads! 4x4 Off Roads

Some information here that may be useful. Compared to my old favorites, the Gumbo MM.

Interesting.

ToyotaJeep Personally I like this size the best of all I have ran. Tall and wide and works well. Hard to find tires in this size though. My Toyo experiments are not going well here....winter is on the down hill here so I am not worried about it, but I would like to get something better down the road.

Keep us in the loop.

weswes01 I was able to find a few sellers who were had 4 piece minimum orders. They all had strange responses though. A few said that the tires were a new design and not ready yet

Even if these tires were being sold under a different name, they are still coming from the same place.... Ill keep trying.

WILLD420 How much money you got to invest. At $200 per tire, 100 tire minimum, you need $20,000 plus the ride and duties. At $300 per tire, you would have to sell 75-80 tires (20 sets) to cover the costs. Do you think we can find 20 guys to buy a set of 4 or 16 guys to buy a set of 5?

That's not much margin to get someone to import them. Not when they can sell Swampers and make the same money with no risk for returns and blems.
