clb 017 Here's some more good thoughts headed out....

That said.....

I've never seen an honest politician.....
Um wait No strike that.
I've never seen a tornado when I was in tornado alley back when, don't mean they were not there.
Keep yer eyes open , mouth shut (=stereo off) walk lightly, and who knows what'll show up

jjeep71 I hope she recovers quickly. I have never seen a rattler up there.
I was at Barney Riley with flip flops on and almost stepped on one. Not very big snake, maybe 10 inches. It was near a spring we went to explore.

Now I know lol. I must live in blissful ignorance because I have only ever seen a rattler like 3-4 times in my life.

Every time they give her another shot of anti venom, its another 24 hours before they can decide to release her or give her another shot. From what I got, itll be 6 ish months of no to little weight bearing on that leg. Snake never even rattled, hit her in the foot from under a rock as she was walking past it.
That's crazy, I've always worried about that with the kids, especially in the middle of nowhere.

Wilson I ran in to Richardson Lake last Friday. Still good drifts and mostly snow at that point. I saw on FB that a group of jk’s did make it all of the way through on Sunday. They reported 12 hrs to get from the bridge at buck to Tahoma

There is still a good amount of snow on the Tahoe side. Miller lake still had ice on it Saturday. Lots of deep snow holes to climb out of. 3 wheel drive will make it challenging. Winch recommended .

glaZe76 Was there with 6 other rigs this weekend. Loon Lake side, Camped at Ellis Creek. We pushed on through some pretty tough snow drifts from Ellis creek to Buck island but made it fine. We cleared the trail pretty good and its melting fast. Didn't go any further than Buck so have no idea what the rest of the trail looks like. Lots of water on the trail. With the warm weather I think most of the snow on the trail should be melted off by the weekend or close to it.

SJscouter on here went in a week ago and it looked deep. Didn't look like he got to the lake and was pulling in his jk on 40's.

jeepyjca Anyone make it across the Ellis Creek Bridge? I know the snow was very narrow a couple weeks ago. If you made it across how far did you make it up the trail, Walker, Sluice, Buck?

Dougleton Went up Friday the 24th. Made it to Ellis Creek bridge and turned around and camped at the bottom of the bowl. Bridge still had 4-5 feet of snow in the middle.
