squamch Dammit. My wife's extended family live on the opposite side of the country. Her grandmother had a fall today and is in a hospital with a confirmed corona case. Grandpa is diabetic and doesn't take care of himself if no one is chasing him about it. So now she thinks she's a terrible person for not being there. For fuck's sake she had just gotten back to kinda normal about this whole deal and stopped panicking non stop.

Cracks in the pistons on the other hand might be something to worry about.
im gonna run it as is. i'll just replace gasket and bolts

small heat cracks in the pistons is really common too

you need more boost, or less fuel

i can get new cups, but ill probably just grind the raised edges so they dont brake off

engine was in the dump truck before i got it so it had hard life. i put new turbo on it bc old one was seized , who knows how long it was running with seized turbo lol i only put about 2K miles on it

my EGT's and boost are good now. max 900 pre turbo and it'll push 30# of boost.

dave_dj1 I wanted a way to lift some blocks of wood with my tractor left behind at a log landing so I came up with the poor mans grapple.

Here's a video of it in motion.

When you have an elevator to your bedroom, you don't pick out design stuff. You have people for that- you just cut the checks.

I haven't even pulled the PE out yet, but with how high the water is in the yard, it's prolly 5' down the hole

gonna try plugging in the pump next time I'm up there, might not even need to pull it out
