I had one since this morning since getting up, drank 6 large coffees til noon and now it is raining. Too wet to work outside, being a goofoff inside... Headache subsidizing...
I figured it was weather related...

Yeah, I've said it before, I don't get check ups, shots or stitches, I can tough that shit out, but after 2 weeks, you need to go see somebody

dave_dj1 Woke up this morning to a hot air blower blowing coldish air
Went out to the boiler and sure enough, water temp was down to about a hundred, the draft inducing fan wasn't running, i rapped on the housing with a pair of cheap pliers I keep out there and it came on. I was embarrassed at how much smoke billowed out until it finally took off. All is well now but I suppose that i will be installing a new aquastat in the bitch sooner than later.

Brad Cold oil pumps out of a crankcase and gearbox waaaay slower than hot oil.

I’m no bicycle mechanic. Replacing the Gyro cables and adjusting the brakes took much longer than it should have.

Ironworker at work has SOME of the parts for a rolling feeder for the angle shear and plate shear that will never get used because I have no idea where the rest of the parts are. Don’t really care. Taking all the mismatched parts for it and putting them in a Vidmar Caninet instead of a rolling toolbox. Re rearranging my work area and getting it how I want it. Not going to be easy with the space/setup and layout of the rest of the shop but oh well.

That’s all for now

I have no doubt about that. I spent ~$50 on wood to build two simple book shelves for my daughters nursery.

Yup, I was at a buddy's repo yard, noticed a real nice Silverado with $2k rims. Fucker coulda kept stock runs and made 4 more payments. Yeah, the rims were on s credit card I'm sure, but just a series of stupid choices.

I applied for a new job with a competitor cellular carrier end of October, Cell Site Engineer. I had 3 internal people refer me, got an interview right away, second interview, job offer today. Great offer, I accepted the job. They start doing background check etc. Manager calls me to discuss starting date, equipment, truck etc and then tells me I'd need to move for the job Whole fucking reason for applying for this job is current company wants me to move and I don't want to. I asked in both interviews, no move required. Manager just realized today where I live, it's at the top of my fucking resume. Some people's kids...
Rant off.

Seems like that one was 275,000 pounds.

Sure they had permits, but they moved it.
Legal non-permit allowable weight is 80k lbs gross. Legal width is 8'6 and legal height is 14ft. This is all federal regs. Anything over those have to have a state issued permit. Every state has different rules.

275k goes even beyond super load in Tx. I dont even know what has to go on for moves like that.

They moved a million pound generator from Victoria to the power plant just S of SA and it took them something like 3 weeks and the most F'ed up route Ive ever seen. The permit for it was multiple pages long and very complex. And cost thousands of dollars.
