muddeprived Maybe someone can explain this to me. It is not a complaint but more of a "wtf?" thing I do not get about Amazon.

When I click one day, it delivers next day regardless of the day. Cool. When item does not have one day option then I use the 2 day prime but it does not include weekends. For instance I ordered a water filter, filter housing, bracket, and wrench yesterday. All but the housing had 1 day shipping and I got them today at 3pm.The housing had 2 day Prime but will not be here till Tuesday.

WTF

rugby Sitting in Pago Pago American Samoa waiting for an electrician. This island time stuff sucks when you got stuff to do and only a few days to get it done.

Yeah, it was new to me too. It was almost like a roller coaster type thing with a bucket seat where a plastic bar comes down over their heads and straps in almost like a Jeep hood closes.

Clearly not "child proof" either.

MDMIKE My Wife is taking a 3 day weekend vacation with her Mom and I'm left at home with the kids. I took my twin 5 year old daughters to the park today because, well, thats what the Wife said they like to do on days they don't have school.

It must have been Daddy Daycare day at the park because there was only 1 other Mom there, and a bunch of Dads. Everything was going great, and my 1 daughter made fast friends with another little girl that was there. There is a swing set that had buckle-in seats and I was pushing my daughter and her new friend. I didn't realize that my daughter's new friend had unbuckled herself in mid swing, and when she swung back towards me, she fell out of the swing and face planted straight into the bark mulch.

For a split second I thought everything was going to be fine, but apparently the little girl was using that split second to conjure up the scream and tears she let loose. Everyone at the place turned towards me as I'm standing there trying to figure out what to do, including her Father that was already in full stride towards us.

In my head: "FAAAAAAWWWWWWKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!"
Out of my mouth: "Oh my God, I am SO sorry, I had no idea she had unbuckled herself! I can't believe I just did that!"

Luckily the other Dad was cool (once he picked her up, dusted her off, and checked her for injuries). I must have apologized 100 times and feel like a total asshole for losing this guy's daughter off of the swing.

Needless to say, its going to be in-house activities for the rest of the weekend.

Single jet ski trailer behind my Dads CJ7 when I was 16. I got mad, unhooked the trailer, and let is slide down the last few feet at the boat ramp.

Brad Mig welding aluminum. Yeah.......I wanna stick with TIG. But it’s 1/4” to 3/8” and the tig machine keeps popping the breaker. Oh well. It’s getting powder coated anyway so it will cover up all the booger’s

Stick those on the fenders. I have a lowrider car hauler that can't be seen when empty unless the tailgate is down.
I use these on my 6' trailer I made out of a 51 GMC stepside pickup bed . It has aluminum Jeep fenders rather than the gigantic stock fenders. So I put these in the rear stake bed pockets. I can back that thing anywhere with them. But leave them at home and that lil bitch will swing from one side to the other so fast you will swear somebody is messing with you.
I put a small piece of tape on the top at the center of my closed pickup tailgate so I can reference my trailer hitch from the windshield mirror. The yellow balls can then be watched through the same mirror so make sure it's going where I want it to.

dave_dj1 I heard through the grapevine that my BIL was selling his matching numbers 69 Z28 Camaro that he is the second owner of. I just heard from my nephew that it is indeed going to NC but not sold, it's gone to be fixed up. It's about time!
I found the car in a garage about 3 miles from my house. It took my BIL about 2 years to buy it. At that time it had been in the guys garage for 15 years. My brother in law has owned it for about 10 years, garaged the entire time. The body on the car is extremely nice, we never fired it as the carb is missing but I'm sure every rubber component needs to be replaced at this point. I can't wait until it's back on the road

Heck yea! I had seen those before but never thought to use them like that.
