This sounds pretty close to how I got my ex to sign over our last tax check. (she never worked a day of our marriage) and had zero legal right to it

muddeprived It was only $700. She was co-signer on mortgage. No joint account. No marriage. No tits, sorry. She is out of the picture and doesn't want anything to do with the mortgage, house, or me.

I called my bank and asked. They said either can cash it as long as there is no "and" in there.

I deposited it yesterday and we will see if it goes through.

Or feed the check to an ATM.

Automated teller machine, that is.

If you are going to get cash, lots of it, you need to call the bank in advance to tell them as that is what I've had to do before. Be prepared to fill out documents and answer questions from the bank when withdrawing large sums. Yes, it will piss you off when you are asked why you are taking large amounts of YOUR money out in cash.

Juztyn00 Sign it and take it in, if they say it needs her sig too, tell them she's in the car and I'll be right back...

Filthy McChevy If no banks will this would be a time to try a Check Cashing ripoff place.
