Brad Learned the difference between a hailer and a loudspeaker tonight.
Made more sliding clamps for the acorn table I hate.
Went for a drive around the island in our Taylor Dunn cart. Came to the conclusion we need to get a light bar for it. We had one of these ratchet strapped to the roof worked pretty fucking well. I want to go back and check out where we went tomorrow in the daylight. Huge old cranes and dry docks. Lots of history and badassness happened on the island.

Then just about every option they offered

I was originally in the market for a 24-26ft. But at 28ft it went from 8" to 10" i beam frame. A trailer on the lot was 6500 with 7ks, so for a couple grand more I went full retard on a custom order. For the past year, I never saw another 28, everyone jumps from 26 to 30+. I didnt need the length, but wanted the strength.

I've had it for three days and already hauled a couple trucks. I cant tell the difference between loaded and empty. You know the weight is back there, but its solid.

Must resist the urge to void the warranty and start cutting and welding to my taste.

Got it to work after more fluid and cycling quite a few times. Still has a slow leak or air bleeding in because I can hear it slowing down after a while. Got cross slide tight enough so there was no shake or shimmy and to be solid enough to bog down the motor making a .070 cut. Found 2 of the cam bolts for the chuck were a tad loose too. It all needs to be taken allll the way apart and put back together. Maybe another day

It was that it was almost all the way traveled in, AND there are THREE hold down nuts instead of 2. All others Iíve used only have 2. Still trying to get the variable speed working. Itís hydraulically driven but isnít working. Fluid was low, added fluid, tried resynchronizing it per the manual. Still no dice. Thinking air in the system since when i was following the manual the fluid level dropped again. Itís not spilling out anywhere visible.

Clausing 1500 if anyone has any experience.

Are any of the cables on Amazon any good. Some looked damn near the same. Not worried about cost, just ease of getting it/paying for it.
you need 7zip.
it's free.
it opens .rar files.

the bimmergeeks cable is universally regarded as the gold standard.
I have a generic one.

I believe this one to not suck. reviews say it has signed drivers, so it has a legit FTDI chip in it.

I think I did that once like a decade ago then forgot about it entirely on any system I've built since. Guess I've been used to clicking out of the occasional 'hey this is free but it would be nice if you paid us' dialogue box for 25+ years and never really think about it.

Years ago when I was on a rescue squad we had a call to the local restaurant/dive bar because the cook passed out from the heat. Somebody came up to me and asked if it was alright to go into the restaurant to eat. I said go right ahead, just don't order the daily special. For some reason they left.
