Unrelated...but how is your business/general area during memorial day weekend, including the Dragon? Complete shitshow or still kinda normal? I'll be in northern VA the week prior and would love to hit that area as I've never been down there short of passing through, but if it's a disaster I'll save it for another time.

aczlan Stopped on the side of the road today and picked up a Champion 3500W 120V/240V generator for free.
Exhaust valve was out of adjustment, needs a muffler, a voltmeter and a air cleaner.
Started up on ether (cranking it over with a drill), ran on the gas that was in the tank, made enough power to run my 1500W heat gun as a test load.

Now to see if I can find or modify a muffler for cheap...

I think the software is loaded, again it was a stuggle of DL and zip shit- it lets me open it, but that was it. Cable lit up when plugged in, but the cd that came with it seemed to want to load shit too, that did not seem to load right. IDK

Yeh no desire to go flat bed. Bed is not shot shot yet, but has some soft spots. Time will determine what I do.

CEL came on on the BMW on ride home from work, cool get to play with INPA and the new cable I just got. False/fail/not gonna happen. I am computer stupid apparently. Can not get it to connect.

Plus side of multiple vehicles.... guess I need to drive the Grand Cherokee tomorrow... shucks, heated steering wheel it is.

I pulled the box off my Ford to fix a cab corner, and concluded that it was time to build a flatdeck. Easier and cheaper and a more robust final product compared to fixing it.

Is the software loading on the laptop?

I wanted to burn my fucking VW to the ground SO MUCH for a few months, then everything started making sense and the computer was doing the good shit

now I can turn off trouble codes
Glow plug controller caught fire and was replaced with a pushbutton? Yeah, computer doesn't know it's gone because I deleted every trouble code associated to the module.

Thepanzerfuhrer The Boys were beating me up pretty bad in the twistyís this week. Spent some time today and dialed the old exciter in. Rebuilt the skis out of a bunch of parts they were getting pretty thin. Had to pull motor to get the toe set right. Thinking about loping the muffler off and replacing it with a stinger.

The boys better watch out Iíll be hanging with them next week.

dave_dj1 Progress is coming along nicely on the new dump trailer build.
It's 6'-5" x 12' with two 5200 lb axles
6" channel main frame, 4" channel dump bed frame
will have a 10 ga floor and sides
5" x 30" stroke cylinder
I am using old MH axles and have decided (after taking one apart and having the brake lining fall off the shoe) that I will be converting them to 8 on 5.5" bolt pattern. It's more than I wanted to spend but it is what it is.
Axles were free, cylinder and power pack I have 100 bucks into them.
I'm hoping to be into it for around 2K



I'm going to have this piece cut, does it look strong enough as drawn? With the 1/2" around the hole?

I've been on the look out off and on but have not had anything reasonable come up. When I did the brakes and bearings on this truck the U-joints were gone. When I replaced them the shaft ears were not that great looking so this is not totally unexpected, I was more worried about getting the truck ready for winter cheaply than doing everything right.

Chains are on my list of things to get for this truck.
