Mexico imported almost 2 billion pounds of avocados to the US in 2018. With California only producing 300 million pounds. The board projects this year that California crops will drop significantly to only 175 million for the year

and avocados are good for the environment they use so much water that they can lower air temps and slow wildfires! at least H2O isn't a greenhouse gas like that evil CO2
Quote:
Avocado orchards, due to their well-irrigated soil and lush green leaves, serve as a natural fire break for surrounding neighborhoods and businesses and can help firefighters slow or stop the rate of spread during wildfires.
Orchard trees lower air temperature by evaporating water in their leaves.

The comment was made in regards to the liberal spun festival on a fruit that’s now year round availability isnt so earth friendly.

It's still as beautiful as ever really, all politics aside. Ocean temps are still in the 60's, and perfect beach weather! You guys will enjoy it. Upbeat was a great show! There were also lots of other really good bands, all three stages. It was packed tight though. Cheers

I live about 20 miles away in a much less...liberal infested place. It wasn't like that growing up there in the 80's-90's. Most of the locals have been financially driven out by liberal "thinking" fuckwads from other states. Not too long ago, California was the wild west, my ancestors have been here since before those days (spaniard).

Protesting and showing your wokeness is always easier when there’s no risk. Once people figure out what they’ve done, they rarely have the energy to reverse it, cause that takes effort and going against the current they’ve been floating in. Always be wary of “warriors” that have no skin in the game.
