![]() I also remember the thing going into limp mode on me screwing around with the sport shift. Not sure if that was the shift recall or some other gremlin. Had to have it towed to the dealer because I couldn't drive it from Monument to CO Springs at 20mph. That was in the first 100 miles of my Dodge ownership experience ![]() |

Elwenil | You still haven't owned a Dodge. The original Avenger was 100% a Diamond Star Motors vehicle based on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Eclipse and built alongside it in Normal, Illinois.

fastonraceday | two the first was a 67 dart with the back corner caved in, the second was a 17 ram with all the options, nice truck and they let me drive off the lot without securing financing after a huge downpayment, then after making three payments i got a letter saying i had to return the truck because they couldn't get the financing they were clear across the state and i got there and they found me a 06 nissan frontier and they wanted me to make payments onn that as well. i told them i gave them 30,00 dollars and a thousand in payments consider the nissan paid in full. i really miss that ram truck.

2 too many. ![]() Have an 85 3/4 ton dodge 2wd with the 318 and torqueflight 727. Rebuilt the transmission once and it's slipping pretty bad again. It gets driven probably less than 100 miles a year. We have a skid with a spray tank in the back for hosing down weeds. Also have a 92 dodge 3/4 ton 2wd with a Cummins and 5 speed. Steering and suspension is so worn out and sloppy on that thing you could make a half turn with the steering wheel before it'd start to turn. It's sitting parked and un-used. I need to yank the engine out and put it in something decent (a Ford) someday. The doors on both of them suck ass. |

Nine (9) or ten (10). Had/have five (5 ) Magnums, all but one (1) SRTs. Still have two (2) of them. One (1) 2007 with Edelbrock blower (about 570 HP) and unmolested rare 2008 SRT, only 239 made. Chrysler stopped the Magnum to use capacity for Challenger. Current DD is 2015 Charger Hellcat. |

90 2wd 6 cyl Dakota that I absolutely hated. 03 Ram 1500 2wd with a 4.7. Wish I'd never sold it but it had nearly 300k on it when it died and I couldn't justify what replacing the rear end cost. Ended up making like 3x what I paid for it though and never put anything but a radiator and a battery in it. I've looked into buying one of the newer ones but the stupid ass dial shifter ruins them for me. I know it would bother the hell out of me daily. |

I've had one... '96 Avenger. Car was the biggest piece of shit I've ever had. Engine was a good 2.5L Mitisubishi... Everything bolted around it was absolute garbage. My Father was a Mopar guy for years. '74 Road Runner, forget the year D50, 89 half ton, 94/98/2001 Caravan, 2004 Durango, 2010 Nitro... There the streak ended. |

1970 Dodge Dart 318. High school car, beat the snot out of it. 1981 1/2 ton long bed. 360 4 speed. Got repoed. 1979 1/2 ton short bed. Built 360 4 speed. Was kind of a pile but a fun truck. 1993 Plymouth Duster if that counts. Front wheel drive econo car but it was fun to drive. Certainly not a 340 duster of old... Newer challenger is on the bucket list. I have never owned a ford. Mostly chevies and Toyotas now. |
