What changes in chit-chat? I stopped by there too, I saw Gary and Paz bickering with each other, some AW looking for recognition from anonymous strangers on the interweb, and Roxy being a bitch to some noob. Looked pretty normal to me.

Yes, I have been away from the PBB for a while, and my Scouts have been sitting idle in my driveway. Real life has unfortunately gotten in the way for the time being.

To sum the matter up, there has been no resolution. Comer is still a Thief. At this point, enough time has passed that I will be unable to get any resolution from the Denver County Small Claims Courts, even if I was able to track Comer down, have him served, and take time to travel to Denver for a court appearance that would certainly find him guilty, but not enforce any restitution. If he won't do the right thing now, I have no confidence that he would do it just because a judge "said so." Unfortunately, that's the way the court systems work. And I have neither the time nor the money to pursue that avenue at this point.

It's a hard pill to swallow, and a lot of money to write off. But at this point, I can't imagine that Comer would ever be man enough to return my funds.

All I can do, is make sure that anyone else who is considering having him do work, is aware of what a crooked and dishonest person he is, and recommend that they talk to a real vendor, like the Ismails instead.

I would appreciate it if the rest of the community took this approach as well. Please don't use my issues with a known thief as an excuse to bash the BB or the folks there. Let's all take the high road.

And in the meantime, if anyone happens to bump into Comer, punch him in the gonads for me and tell him he owes me money.

Wow! What a dusty gem! Still business as usual over here. Since Sully didn't do anything or enough on the matter, he paid for a very expensive lesson. I bookmarked this thread, forgot about it myself, then been getting emails of new posts. Nothing has changed here, he's relocated and a yellow Scout is still parked in front of a T-Shirt place by 6th and I-25. I find the whole situation sad and pathetic.

Oh, I'm having a blast building my new TJ junk.

Yeah that has to be right up there in the top ten of all time and it came right out of Mr. Comer's mouth. In the end I spent almost two years and lost $5000 dollars dealing with that dirty rat. Have you read anything posted. If something was being covered up ...wouldn't it be smarter/easier to just delete it?

I didn't read anything on the BB but from what I've read here it seems to me the thread should have stayed open. If someone posts out of line then delete their post and leave the thread as the next guy could have something worth reading about.......

I bet if it was HIS engine and HIS $2,000 that he (the mod who locked the thread) was CHEATED out of, he'd be singing a different tune.

If bumping the thread to the top every so often keeps another person from getting screwed, all the better.

I havent been to the BB for years because of the Mods and a lot of the users/low tech. So I have no idea about this current thread or Mod stuff.

I do know that Comer did talk about this a bit at first then chose to bail/not defend his actions. His reasons are his own but why would I do business with him? I also liked the stuff Sully put out in this thread when many others just put up garbage/smack talk and speculation.

The accused won't even attempt to defend himself as he is guilty way beyond a reasonable doubt.

If it takes a lynch mob to get justice, so be it. I'm here in Denver now. I'll be happy to supply the rope and pull.

As far as implying something about KC, DON"T go there. Don't even try.

As far as Bill T. Yes, he has a reputation too. Not a good one IMO.

RMIHR. Since Comer is gone from it, supposedly, I honestly wish them a very successful upcoming event and many more.
