OK guys here's the deal as I see it and how things are going to work. It may be named something different now, yet this new forum is going to be general Jeep tech, including newbie. So everything that's not "hardcore" belongs in the std. Jeep tech forum.

What's "hardcore"?

I see it as fabbed suspension questions, and drivetrain swap questions mostly. Things like fabbing 4 link suspensions, Jeepish buggy's, Really big tires, big axles like 60's rockwells and mogs. 1 ton +. fabbing trans adapters, fabbing hardcore parts. a common theme is fabbing.

What is non hardcore?

Normal Jeep specific stuff. Lift kits, typical springovers, bolt ons, drivability, identification, and countless other things. Things like you find on a nice trail rig. One that can be driven to, and from the trail. If you got a trailer queen, you're "hardcore"

If you actually drive it feel welcome here. If you're still making payments on it, feel welcome.

Indy's Unlimited Rubicon belongs here, His CJ belongs in hardcore. Does this make sense?

I have a bunch of Jeeps that tech info i may need help with belongs in here. I have always thought that it was silly moving real Jeep tech questions to "newbie" I'm not newbie many of the guys, many of the questions weren't newbie. So..... some of my drivabilty tech questions are? No not really. They are not drivetrain, and fabbed suspension specific, yet they weren't "hardcore" So I have a place where I can ask questions about most of my too huge Jeep fleet. And I have a place where I can show the build up of my M715, or CJ7 on high pinion 60's.

Thank freaking god it's Pirate. Those other sites don't compare to here.

So if you want to help this BB take the next step welcome. Here's how we do it..........

Yea. Thanks Budd for the reply. I heard stuff like that and I dont even no if they still are in biz? I really dont have much options. ARB i read has probs with my cooling system. I wold just run no bumbers but the punk ass cops would profile me all over town. I want my tire on back not on roof. As far as me movin my post well, Im not gonna argue with you guys. haha yea. That guys posts on JU all the time I made my screen name to make fun of that NY fatty. but no, i just need some info on this since JU is gone.

JU is down need help from Jeep "Vets"

Ok so im lookin for advise on aftermarket bumpers on Jeep WJ series..1999-2004. Mine is a 2000 and I know ARB has a diffrint one cuz of the cooling sysytems is diffrint. I heard bad thing about kennesaw mountan bumpers but they look cool. Prolly get traiready for front......winch of course...but back bumper their isnt much choice for us guys. Ive seen pics but where are you guys getting custom rear steel bumpers? I want built in reciever and tire carrier (i run 32 mtr) also want it to hold one of those high lift jacks and spare gas cans. I have limited experiece with welding..made my own roof basket..but dont think a bumper I coud do. Ideas? their has to be more choices for my vehicle dont no where to find thouh.
