jrod66 I have 49's on my bronco and run rocks, pinion brakes too but I could do like 70 without getting too sketched out and my RPM wasnt too bad, I think like 2800 or 3000, but that is with a big tire, you might not want to go that big, if you have to ask, you probably dont want to know.

Fl-Krawler i had rockwells on my old buggy and drove it to work a few days a week.. i run an LT-1 with an auto tranny and overdrive.. i can cruise on the interstate and keep with the flow of traffic no problem(around 80mph). if you are gonna see any street use get some wheel brakes for them..i ate up 2 sets of pads in 3 months due to street use.. my new buggy will have wheel brakes at all 4 corners..i shopped around and was able to put wheel brakes on each axle for about $100 more than a single pinion brake(one of the high quality ones) per axle..

SWFLJEEPER with your setup (or anybody elses) can you get to 65 or 70 at a decent rpm??????? trying to decide between rocks or 1 ton in a 97 tj that does see some street time in florida

BigChevy79 Rocks are not a problem to drive on the road. Good brakes and stable drivelines and ur set.

haha good stuff. i as well would be in better shape if i could figure out my crawl ratio for my trail unit, freaking impossible

chadburgin if you havent ever passed a 6x6 the you better be at least 80 years of age, driving really slow and close to the steering wheel

does anybody drive these on the road? If so with such low gear how fast can you go??
