Good talking to you guys. Everywhere we go there are always folks interested in Ftoys. They're taking over. Hope to see you guys competing next season.
Thanks for posting the pics. I didn't realize I was that close to the OB when I was on the passenger side.

That's going to suck.
I don't feel so bad as PA should only be 18 hrs or so. Only problem is it's the second weekend of my vacation and i'll be at the lake until Thursday night.

|a2b||ya jon. are you going to make nationals? that would be really cool if you came out. plus, it would be good practice for next year when your east coast class blows up|

Yeah we were in front of you coming up Sunday morning. I kept you in viewing distance, these enclosed trailer's y'all pull don't look to fun going up these mountain roads.
But I'm always glad to see your F-Toy at WE Rock, hope your going to make it to Nationals.

C3 was tight but easy. We had to take a few backs but no big deal.
All in all we had a great time. Once again i'd like to thank the Klein's, all the judges and volunteers, the park owners for making this site available, and all the competitors particularly the Stock Mods guys that make us feel welcome by offering advice and encouragement. Still waiting for other F-toys!! See ya'll in PA.
BTW- My buddy Chris that came along to take pics did an awesome job. I'll post a link to his pics in a day or so. He has good shots of all the classes. Anybody that has a pic or vid of our roll i'd like to have it as our photographer was already headed home at that point and didn't get it.

C2 down the rock garden that we went up on Saturday. No big deal huh? High centered on a big rock and rolled on the drivers side all the way over to the passenger side. The auto trans never stopped pulling. I started to try to drive back on going forward but that didn't work so I tried in reverse and it fell back down on the wheels, right on top of the out of bounds marker. Oh well we didn't have to lift it and I now know it will pull for at least a short time on it's side after rolling.
Looking for pics or vid of this??!!

|mtbrjon||C1 was a little tougher Sunday with a down and up bonus gate that was a little tough to get up. We didn't make it and almost flopped down the hill. After a moment of confusion we were back on track and picked up the upper bonus cone but only after hitting 2 others along the way. The Stock Mods that I saw had a tough time on this course as well.|

|mtbrjon||Sunday-foggier than holy hell early then a little hot as the sun burned the fog off. First course C4 which was backward from day 1 with the previous days downhill bonus turned into an uphill bonus. We appeared to be the only ones remotely capable of the bonus due to our long wheelbase. We gave it a good shot but were not successful. I think I need to work on the torque converter to eliminate the "lock up" that sometimes happens for no reason in 2nd gear and raise the stall a little. Needed a little stronger launch. Cleaned the rest of C4 with no big problems.|

|mtbrjon||We made it down ok and thru the bonus gate at the bottom then tried to hook the left rear tire on a tree on the inside to burn the front around. Lets just say we're getting a reputation for knocking down trees. I swear we have nothing against trees! Apparently on the steep down hill the power steering reservoir emptied most of it's contents into the overflow tank (poor design that is being changed this week) and then the power steering pump assed out leaving us with no power steering. Luckily I carry a spare and in 20 minutes or so we were back in business. I really liked C1 as it was wide open, no trees, and set on the inside of the park on the "island". It appeared easy enough until you got up on it. It was steeper than it looked and mostly loose gravel with big boulders all along the bottom. We cleaned it fairly easy and toyed with the bonus for a few minutes before running out of time and getting out with a little left on the clock. Not a bad day at all.|

F-toy report Jellico 07
Friday-rain. Hell it's East Coast WE-rock it has to rain one day of each comp right?
Saturday am-foggy as hell. Interesting drive up the mountain to the comp, not much margin for error while pulling an enclosed trailer. I'm awake now though. No water or mud on the courses-good! This place is really cool. Very spectator friendly. One big island/mountain/hill in the center mostly for the big boys with lots of boulders around the outside perimeter for the stock mods and us. Our first course was C2 which was a fairly easy looking rock garden. We made it clean and even picked up the -10 for the bonus gate then realized we misinterpreted the layout and didn't get the bonus after all. We won't make that mistake again. Most of the stock mods did ok on this course. Then on to C3 that was a similar rock garden with one really big sharp rock just after gate 1, got a little hung up there and bumped the right cone on gate 2, Fooey! No big drama though. Most of the SM's did fine on this course digging around the tight gates. On to C4. Easy long climb to the first gate down a 15ft steep drop that had most of the SM's nose wheeling and saw at least 1 end up on his lid.
