| PureFunction | Thanks everyone. I know the AW4 is an overall better tranny I was just thinking about the fact that the AW4 is computer controlled and the TF999 isn't. Just one less thing i'd have to worry about. The AW4 has a lower first gear as well doesn't it? |

AW4, the trans is sturdy. You can also set up to manual shift it. Runs a little hot but just add a cooler. |

AW4, they are a dime a dozen and they will outlast the 4.0 (which is saying quite a bit)... hick |

Which Auto would you use? I know this isn't hardcore but I need to decide soon and I didn't get anywhere in the Non hardcore section. If you were to pull a manual tranny out of your cherokee and put in an auto what would you use, TF999 or AW4? If not one of them what one? |
