MTMudpuppy Ordered one for a 14 bolt and one for a front dana 60. They showed up within a week or so. The rear fit great. No leaks. The front is waiting to be installed. Hope it works as good as the back. What do you expect for $65 though???

Dave C the 14 bolt cover I bought showed up within a week and a half. Three bolt holes were slightly off but that was an easy fix. Well worth the $65 for me

Solid cover

My D60 65.00 cover also had this issue. I took the grinder to it for clearance but this makes me think about trying to get it replaced. I have not run the axle yet but it had to weaken it some.

bggrnchvy Looks like somebody took a bit too much off the mounting face on the mill when they machined that casting

You would think they would have a hemispherical like mold they could drop it on after final machining and just slip a feeler gauge around the edge to ensure good fit with adequate relief for the ring.

switched both of my d60 covers were out by 3/16" of an inch. They replaced them both for free. One arrived the other day, and the other one should be arriving this week.

myke52081 I had the same issue. Contacted Solid and they replaced it free of charge. They are great guys who stand behind their products.

With as lousy of a driver as you are, that's an under-statement!

Wilson Mine were bought off-sale from WFO and have no clearance issues. Hopefuly it is a fluke, as the covers are literally a solid product, mine have been beaten hard.

RustyNailJustin I had that problem with a poison spider (bomb shell) diff cover, clearenced it but it did hit the ring gear pretty bad before.

King7765 Thats ashame.

I'd grind it and roll since it was only $65.00

Now if my ARB diff cover at $180 contacted the ring gear.... I be upset

Warning to those who bought the $65 solid diff covers.

I bought one for my 88 f-350 dana 60 stock 4.10 gears in the big scout and it hits the ring gear when installed. not TOO bad but bad enough that the cover wasn't sealing, and I couldn't turn the front yoke when putting in the driveshaft. It would be really easy to do this to a running vehicle and shred parts. Had it torqued on and it put ring gear teeth marks into the cover. I'm probably just going to grind it, it's not worth the hassle of having to send it back. I think I will ask if it will still be covered under warranty if I grind it and hit something big enough to do work. For 65 bucks shipped though, i can't complain too much.

TEST FIT YOUR NEW COVER!!!
