Just FYI, due to proposed 41P, there are literally hundreds of thousands of form 1, 3 and 4 waiting to just be INPUTTED into the system.

That means, the first step of basically acknowledging the receval of your form is extremely backlogged. That's why the delay in the charge.

So, if I form 1 a suppressor today, I would be looking at what, at least a year to get my paperwork back?

Sooo it took me 4 months back in 2014 and just over 4 months in 2015..

I'd expect a change. I really need to do my form 1s.

I have a form 4 that was submitted December 16th that I'm still waiting on. My shop that I went through said they had started getting forms submitted from the first week of December last week. I hope I get mine back soon.

still waiting for one submitted January 5th, went pending January 26th, and was told they are all sitting at exactly 5 months from pending date by the NFA Branch last week.

i would expect approval by Memorial Day, and hopefully can in hand by mid June.

I'm still waiting on 2 form 4's I submitted in September 2015... The checks cashed in late December. I've had absolutely horrible response from the agency. I had my LGS that is currently holding the items call in early April; their contact finally located the forms in the system and replied, "you should be seeing them in a couple weeks. Oh, by the way, would you forward another copy of the completed forms to me?"

I let my LGS handle the paperwork on these suppressors. I really like the guys at my LGS but I'll handle the paperwork for my next set of purchases. Lesson learned...

Yes, I have personally called to check, multiple times. Every time it is the same thing, "I have no record that item"

Question -

If Line 9 (Consent of Disclosure of Information) is marked incorrectly, that would cause an examiner to give the response above, correct?

The LGS guy said he didn't check a box to allow for status updates.

Yes you can. But you could print out ten form 1's on paper and mail them faster than completing one eform.

:Begin whining...:
The story is deeper than that. The forms were originally sent in October 2014 as a personal transfer. Patiently waiting.... start asking questions around April 2015. I keep getting the same response "it takes 8-12 months."

I pushed the issue in June 2015, LGS does some calling and checking, the checks had not cleared and it was a known fact that the WV NFA branch had physically moved offices in late 2015 and a paperwork got lost. My original F4's included.

I decided to go with a trust; using Earl of Burl's that he shared as a base. Modified as needed; it read well according to my attorney. Resubmitted in August 2015, checks got lost, resubmitted again in September 2015. Here it is May 2016.
:Whining complete...:

Why would the silencerco trust hold him up?
