For you other California folks...

Anyone registering? Been reading the good bad and ugly on Calguns but any more “local experiences?”

I haven’t been on calguns in a while

What is this registration you speak of?

Naturally... the liberal California media has no information on anything gun related, unless it’s something they can use to sensationalize their agenda

He is talking about registering the AR-15 as a salty weapon. Gubment and most of the voters went full retard in fall of 2016, so now even bastardized bullet button rifles are considered assaulty. Need to either attempt to register it for future confiscation, or remove collapsible stocks, pistol grips and flash hiders.

Lots of horror stories on Calguns related to registration, basically a huge hassle, and worse. Even a story of a Bakersfield person attempting to jump through all the hoops of registration and the DOJ sent a pile of officers to his house and took all of his guns. Scary!

Read about that guy. supposedly he attempted to register his AR's and the website wouldnt load or something. A few days later a SWAT team showed up and arrested him for non-registered AR's.

CA DOJ is so retarded i wouldnt be surprised if they charged him for being in possession of registered NFA suppressors that werent registered to the state of CA.

Suppressors are not legal to own in California. Maybe they are fake suppressors?

We know. That was part of why he made that statement.

I dont keep up with CA laws like i should. But cant you be a CA resident that is a member of an out of state trust and "check out" the suppressor for use within the state of CA?

Also, LEO's and FFL's can have suppressors in CA. So they arent explicitly illegal.

Regardless, this is just more examples of how fuck-tarded CA is. Upstanding citizen trying to register an AR gets 12 felonies and gets SWATTED. But an illegal alien driving without a license gets a ticket made out in a fake name and away he goes.

Only the rare feel good weapon owners will register. The same kind of people that would let their safe get searched for no reason. There’s a fuck ton in California. The ones that are opposite vote against the current party, they want them gone. More good guy felons=more shitbag liberal votes.

What the fuck is a "good guy felon?"

You do not need to register your AR if you mag lock it, and you can still have a pistol grip + evil flash hider.

If I own any AR type rifles, I converted them to fixed magazines with the AR Maglock. Its a faster reload than with the bullet button. I am going to have to send in a record of ownership on a few "Self-Manufactured" rifles so I don't have to beg DOJ to send me a number to put on them.

Why register? Remove "evil" features (along with the bullet button) and carry on with your life.

If you remove the offending/evil parts can you still keep/have them in your home or do the parts have to be turned in/sent out of state?

Keep them. They're just parts.

This is what I was told when buying the parts a few months ago for an ar I used to own. I asked what I needed to make it california legal, then asked if I would need to register it. I was told what you said, you can keep all the dangly parts which obviously make it much more dangerous, just so long as you have some sort of mag lock.

I only saw a post on this july 1st on facebook from another gun dealer, making it sound like you pretty much had to register all ar's by the end of june or you were doomed.

The whole tragedy of all of this kalifaggotry is that the syrup suckers have it better than y'all do. They can have 10" rifles with a telescoping stock and pistol grip, flash hider, etc. that uses a detachable 10-rounder delivered to their doorsteps.

But hey, at least the taxes and the weather are good.
