Popped my three long beards opening week. Took the ol lady and kid out. They each killed a jake. Caught some crappies bass and catfish the past couple weekends as well. After trout and stripers now

Flooding has been bad here, which makes for great bow fishing. I got a steal on a bow fishing rig and got to take it out last night. This is right across from our house, that's the levy road in the background. We've had waterfront property for about 2 weeks now.
Between 5 of us last night we probably shot 30 Asian grass carp and gar, but this was my first bow kill so I was pretty dang excited about it. I've never seen gnats as bad as they are now with all this standing water.

*Trying to use Photobucket to direct post the pic, but it comes out HUGE. Any suggestions?

Caught several striper this season from the bank as the water was just too high to fish my boat effectively. Biggest being a 29" down streamer male. My son dicked three sitting right next to me one evening and I got my only skunk of the season. Was worth it to see him so excited. Got a few nice packages of fish frozen for the rest of the year.

Time to start lookin for bucks.

Father's Day weekend haul.

Shot this nice little guilt at 125yds with my new to me AR10. The Nightforce NXS glass is pretty spectacular...

Got this little guy in hiding under our John Deere 4440. Little bastard didn't even rattle. I was just a few feet away when I spotted him. All I had was a steel post so I had to make due.

There’s always something to catch, but even if there’s no bite it’s a good excuse to sit in the ocean and drink a beer Hahahahahaha! Lemme know when you got a free day.
