i got bored today.....

put a new set of losi rock bashers on it.

added a set of the losi bent links on the rear.

took the coils out of the rear coilovers... i might just take coils out up front and slam it.

ill take pics tomorrow when i go and play with it after work

im thinking about ordering this body for it and turn it into a scale rc

My newest Crawler

Started out with an AX-10 I picked up on here, then graduated to a shafty with a DNA chassis. Now I've gone to the darkside and picked up a bully... I just got tired of always breaking stuff. MOA's have many fewer parts to worry about.

It's still mostly an SCX10.... I modeled it after my TJ.

Anyone know where I can get some mini Pirate4x4 stickers??

Where would one start for the realistic but functional route?

Are the realistic pics in this post or are there kits out there that I am missing?

Thanks!

It all started with a Venom Creeper with some mods. Then came a Berg I found on the RCCrawler classifieds. Hope to get it fine tuned soon.

Dave,

The realistic looking rigs are referred to as "scalers" and without a doubt the hands down truck to get is the Axial SCX10 in one of its several variations. Both of my rigs started as SCX10s, but I had to modify them to get the wheelbases I wanted so they would look best with the bodies I run. The SCX10 kits will come with a lexan body which is okay, but generally speaking not as realistic looking as the hard plastic bodies. Some look very sharp, though. I'm running a hard plastic body on the Jeep and my TTC-style early Bronco is lexan. I need to get some pics of that one to post here...

I have decided to get the SCX10 - 1 of these:
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=2395
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=2564

I would prefer the kit, pick all my components, build, etc.... but it is hard to beat the price of the RTR.

Thanks for the info, will post when I get my stuff.
