AAT needs FOTR help on Sept 26th.

Mark Langford has contacted FOTR to request help for work on their AAT portion of the trail. While they are performing their fall assessment they will be building a new water bar at the bottom of Walker Hill on Saturday, September 26th. They are requesting between 5-6 people and believe it will take approximately 2-3 hours.

If you can assist, please contact Mark directly, as I will be on the trail with other commitments for most of the period between now and then. His email is [email protected] if you can assist.

Thanks for any help and keep up the good work AAT clubs!

Thanks Eric!

I've submitted a project plan to Corey Moore with Eldorado County Parks and expect the County's approval to proceed shortly. I plan to start work at 9:00 am on Saturday Sept. 26th and expect to have the work completed by noon. We'll be building a new water bar in a very rocky area and the tools needed are picks and digging bars.

As Eric mentioned, if you can lend a hand, please contact me directly at [email protected].

I appreciate FOTR's support!
