Fire Restrictions

Are they in effect ?

I can find nothing current on any website that shows them in effect ?

I di find an old order banning fireworks that expires in Oct. of 2017.

Anyone got any info. ?

Doubt it John pretty good moisture up there still. Was none two weeks ago. Not sure about the springs being private property and all

here is the link to where you will find them when they go into effect. currently there are no fire restrictions

also fireworks have been banned for decades.
current order that bans them was redone two years ago
Forest order 15-01
it does expire in October but will be re-issued before that happens

It was NO FIRES at the Springs for Jamboree Aug. 4,5,6, kinda sucked but really it was not cold at all so it was no biggie.

There has been virtually zero measurable rain. yeh a few sprinkles here and there.
we are one of the last Forest to go into fire restrictions so I don't think it is out of line at all.

Rained like crazy this weekend at Boca Res. Dropped from 82 to 56 degrees and dumped. Pulled over for an it until we could see. Didn't last long. Mudslide at the State line.

Campfire restrictions were lifted on Monday 10/3

I think 2010,2011 we didn't have them at all for 2 years

I do think they have been appropriate the last few years. There were several years under a different Supervisor that they went into effect while there was still snow on the ground in the mid elevations.
