Skeeters & bees?

Leading a group in this weekend and in years past biting insects and meat bees are either a menace or not an issue at all. A recent sitrep is appreciated. Will be based in RS with day runs to Buck, Long Lake, etc.

Tnx in advance.

Stayed in the springs 2 weekends ago and felt the mosquitos were less than previous years, but the meat bees are out in force. The meat bees came out of the woodwork as soon as the lunch meat or steaks cleared the cooler lid

Also Bear

Three weeks ago had a large bear come down over the rocks south end of the springs at dusk. But didn't bother us.

The meat bees are not as bad as they were a couple of years ago, but they are out there in force this year. I think I only got 1 mosquito bite this whole season up there, and I was there a lot this year. So I wouldn't worry too much about them.

I spent 15 minutes drowing a couple dozen in a plastic trap at buck...
Did NOT make a dent.
