We had to leave a broke down rig at the bottom of big sluice two weekends ago for a couple days. Whilst we were gone a bear tried to eat his way into the center console of his land cruiser. Muddy paw prints all over..

And on the way in I saw a small bear cub run across the trail in front of me coming down cadillac at the sharp left hand turn. Shortly after that getting closer to the springs we saw a rattlesnake slithering across the road. Bout a 2 footer.

Had a large brown bear run across the road in front of us a few miles away from the loon chalet Labor Day morning.

U guys do realize that even though those bears were brown in color they were black bears correct? Black bears are a bunch of pussies. Put your food up and youíll be fine. We didnít see any when we were there a month ago though. Didnít even see any fresh sign
