I have never had anyone question mine, although the Jamboree looked it over after complaints of a "bonfire" in our camp. This one comes with a grill, so technically a stove. Great for late night snacks around the fire, or coffee in the morning. Compact, self-contained, and I bring a 2-1/2 gallon cylinder, very small, and also can be connected to the 1 lb green cylinders in a pinch. Will run for an hour on one of those, we found out.

We are talking about doing the Buck Lake trail after this run. It looks like a 1/2 day in and out up to the lookout. Any thoughts on this trail or any others to hit while we are in the area. Fordyce is on the radar. We will have a bunch of Land Cruisers, 40's, 60's, 80's, and maybe a Tacoma. 12 rigs total. Most should be locked front and rear with experienced drivers. The race car is staying at home.

Deer Valley trail is pretty cool. So you might want to check it out.

2nd Barrett lake. If you have license plates you can leave the tow rigs at Loon, fill up on fuel, ice and beer at Ice House and mob over to Barrett. Definitely worth spending a day chilling at the lake and hiking up to plane and the lake above Barrett.

I just heard back from Kristi S with the Forrest service ...
she tells me that they are modifying the regional order for fire restrictions (which encompass the appliance referred to above) but no timeline proposed... I read this to say that the above unit is not yet legal, but is most likely being overlooked at this time?!
op hope you have a good run.

The key is always have a package of hot dogs and some tongs handy and maybe a bag of buns. Then my friend itís a cooking fire. If within the springs they adjust the fire rules depending on location and season. Being discreet is always a good thing.
