Here's a couple from our New Years day run. Stuck in the shade and crappy sugar all day. Fell far short of the top.

I'm just getting ready for my shakedown run.

I almost posted your rig here, it looks like it's going to be a blast.

Makes me want to find a 2000ish 2 door tracker with the 2.0 and bolt some tracks on.

That's what I would like to do with my '94 Bronco.

Put the Mattracks on in mid-November and then remove them last of April/first of May.

Honestly that would probably be a better platform especially if you could find one with an auto trans, not sure how well the tracks would hold up on the heavier SUV's though.

Thanks guys, I may have to join y'all for a trip in the mountains once I've got this thing all finished up. Cheers!!

Mattracks makes them to handle at least 15,000lbs.

The ones I posted are good for 10,000lbs, I believe.

Edit for correction.

I think if you found a 2 door tracker/vitara and stripped it you could probably get it in the mid 2K pound range and it would be a beast in the snow with the camoplast's. Swap in a 2.3L aerio motor and be all smiles

Normal folks would think that couldn't possibly be a good time.......but I get it. Looks like a lot of snow. We have lots up here in southern Oregon.

Awesome pics.
