Here some pics from sunday at fall river. We probably shoulda went to the high lakes cause it rained hard the whole day. It made for some heavy mushy snow, but we had fun.

I think it gets close to 6000' but I'm only guessing that we made it to 5000' or so. It's up above feather falls. In between feather falls and La Porte. It only takes me about an hour to get there and avoids traffic as apossed to 2-2.5 hrs to get to the highlakes.

Went up by dunsmuir Sunday and the snow was worse than that. Packed horribly and made ice walls that weren't easy to get through

The video doesn't do this drift/side hill any justice. I didn't think we'd be making it past this point, but was able to after few sketchy situations

Doesn't look to me like there was any avalanche danger. Snow looks pretty solid.

Mostly Jeeps and Toyotas here. I don't think I've seen anyone build an Avalanche.

Avalanche danger was pretty high last week but we were never on anything steep enough to cause something too crazy. The snow was definitely different than I've ever been in... made for good snow wheeling though

Went up last Sunday and today. It's been warm here and have not had much accumulation at all, actually quite a bit of melt. It's starting to look like early spring almost

Either way had fun.

Last Sunday

Went out on a "dry" Lake bed. Was cruising right along so I decided to speed up....

Sank pretty good, there was a ton of water below the surface. I think it could have been bad if we were any further away from the shore line.

Buddy pulled up and did the same thing

So we tried to move closer to the shore and I Sank it even worse

Made it to the shore and climbed this Hill unassisted

Today was beautiful, mix of blue sky's, puffy white clouds and storm clouds.

The sign is at least 6' tall at 6600'. There should be at least twice that right now, but it's still a lot better than the last few years.

Spent more time sledding today than wheelin. Had the wife drive and pull me and my 3yr old son for at least a few miles. He was loving it

If driving 20 miles to the plow shed during a blizzard counts as snow wheeling, then count me in!... and then I "snow wheeled" all day

...Ok, I will show myself to the door now...
