2017-2018 season

Starting to fall pretty hard in Western WA.

Probably head out tomorrow for some shenanigans.

YotaAtieToo 11-03-2017 07:19 PM

I'm jelly, our snow levels are really high here, what little snow falls tonight will probably be gone tomorrow. :(

Scoobynorth 11-04-2017 11:57 AM

We had 2-3 feet when I was out last weekend. Kinda ugly snow, icy sugary but this week we got another dump and should be pretty good but I’m away at work.

Not sure what everyone else has right now but Mt. Rose Nevada has about 30 inches at the Ski Resort, up on the top, it's drifted in 3-4 feet with around 2-3 feet on the level.

Waiting for the snow to get deep enough to go play... Oh, and waiting on some parts as well... :D

KarlVP 11-26-2017 07:51 PM

Not a whole lot. But enough to make the kiddo happy.

Went out sunday, snow wasn't that deep and the drifts were only 3-4' deep. And my tires suck... Looks like i'll be waiting a few more weeks atleast

RANGERROD 12-07-2017 06:54 AM

Iím going out Saturday but not expecting to find much. I think this isnít going to be a great year. Itís going to be a very dry winter.

busyfixin 12-11-2017 07:12 PM

We've got a good 4-8 inches so far. We went out for a couple hours yesterday. I tried pretty hard and spun the tires once!

busyfixin 12-17-2017 06:57 PM

Went out for a couple hours today, snow was really slipery and packy. Not enough to worry about getting to deep yet though.

winter4x 12-24-2017 11:46 PM

enough snow to have some fun. First pic early December.

Went out Sunday for a while, still not really deep, but a good time for sure. Took out some DD type rigs that all did pretty well. Only gave one guy a tug right at the top of a big hill.

You always run your front tires backwards? I was wondering if it might help in the snow, just never tried it.

winter4x 01-02-2018 08:30 PM

In the right snow conditions it helps. Most of the time it makes little difference.

Nobody 01-15-2018 04:24 PM

Went up for a look see on Sunday. Not much snow for this time of year. I missed the big early season dumps this year :(
