Anyone use light covers for their led lights?

A few times I've been up when it's snowing and the led lights almost make visibility worse if it's snowing hard enough. Saw some amber lights on Amazon and ended up finding these.

Led light Bar Cover, Auto Power Plus 8 inch Waterproof Amber Led Spot Fog Light Bar Cover Lens Protctive Tail Light Lamp Covers for ATV Jeep Wrangler Trucks 2pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VSGYHHF..._PcGPAbXM8DA1Y

They're cheap enough to just try, I was just curious what you guy thought.

I have similar covers that I put on my rear led pods to make them red. They work well and keep me from getting pulled over for not having rear lights at night.

Excactly.
I had no idea you were required to have constant red lights till BLM impounded my buddies rig. The covers are a cheap alternative to actually wireing lights up, plus I can take them off to set up camp at night.

I had no idea until I was helping my buddy get his beater ready for koh this year. I'm over working on something crucial and he's wiring up brake lights

Honestly it's a good thing, there are so many people going in all directions. It's amazing there isn't more accidents.
