The NorCal guys got me bad. Their snow looks awesome. We got 4 plus feet of sugar snow and cold weather. I can’t really move with 36” iroks. Last rip we just drove around but couldn’t go far for the most part. Even lower elevation stuff is tough going.

Little long winded on this one. Got lasy editing so I’ll apologize now.

Getting more as I type. I was on top of Mt. Rose here in NV last week and it's drifted 15-20' deep in places. Not as bad as the 2017 Snowmageddon but there is a ton of it up there. Rubicon has to have 10' or so, maybe double that in places, haven't heard any reports back yet.

I'm on the west side of the Rubicon at 3000' elev. The snowfall was a mass amount of sugar for a few weeks, then two weeks of great wheelin' after it packed a little, then warm rain came and turned everything to deep slush. I've been searching the lower elev. for 1-3' deep snow but with so many trees down, more time than I wanted was spent on the chainsaw to get through. You know "The snow is always better on the other side" cliché. Lower temps for this weekend, I'm thinkin' about heading up around the Con area Saturday around 5000' looking for good conditions. Here's a pic of me heading into Wentworth Springs (Rubicon), I had to stop and think about the creek crossing.

Another trip, 3500’
Wet slush that turned to rain. After 10 hours of hard rain we left as the creek we had to cross came up 12”.

Below Tahoe the other weekend. Took the kids and drove till we thought it was changing from a kids trip to a all day digging trip. Awesome snow this year!

Couple more from the last few trips on the Wentworth Springs side of the Rubicon. Snow was good in the morning and night when it was cold, but gets slushy quick during the day
