Ultimate snow wheeler.
I have a 7 year old boy that I want to build a project with to teach him wrenching, fabbing, engineering even? My idea is to build a budget minded, snow specific wheeling rig. I don't want tracks as we drive on dirt/asphalt. I am thinking light weight, turbo, auto, 4 banger, IFS possibly FIS with portals, (Not light, but lots of clearance), maybe 4 wheel steering. I'm probably starting from scratch on this and just looking for ideas.
What would your ultimate snow wheeler be? Not looking for snow cat/rzr on tracks, the idea is to build it. PS. I know this forum is ailing, #makepirategreatagain #thetalenttank |

Seeing some of the Kelowna snow wheelers up in British Columbia with ifs/irs I think id I was going custom built it’s the way I’d go. Portals be really sweet. A Honda K24 motor or something similar, light, common, durable mated to gm auto trans, with a doubler tcase setup.
