Coalmont TN OHV Park

I'm just starting this in hopes to drum up some more info on this project. It was announed in 2011 and all my web searches turn up info from that year but really nothing after that. SFWDA is on board but we know how it is trying to get info from them Anyone in the know on this?

I got a response from TN-OHVA on Facebook...

Tennessee Off Highway Vehicle Association:
As with all gov. processes.....it is moving slowly ahead....BUT IT IS GOING FORWARD!

So that's exciting news

I'm also interested in this. Communication on the status of this project is poor to non-existent.

Haven't followed public land use in a while.

Awesome. 2.5hr drive isn't bad and more OHV options are always a good thing.

Yes bumping this from 2017. Seemed like the county had their ducks in a row with their executive business plans, a 1,300 Acre land purchase, etc. Anybody know if this is still moving forward?

Searched for a while and finally found an update if anyone is interested. Looks like it is moving forward and work starting this Spring. Maybe opened before end of year.
