4x4 trails in or Near Orlando.

Hello all New to the Forum names Rob.

Looking for some easy 4x4 trails nothing insane, seems everything I can Find on google earth is locked off with gates or wire. I've been to Ghost Swamp and 5A but looking for something a lil closer to the city.

Anyone wanna ride let me know

Chevy Sonoma Zr5 4x4 nothing crazy but I know how to drive it.

Not in Orlando, but pretty close is the Ocala National Forest. Miles upon miles of trails. You can spend days out there and not ride the same trail twice if you choose. Nothing super hard core though. East of 19 can get pretty wet, if that is your thing.

Depends on what you like. I've been wheeling in this area for 20 years and now I'm spoiled and go out of state to wheel usually...the one time a year I can afford to that is!

Anyway...yes Ocala National Forest has a lot of trails. Mostly sand and some mud. Good for stock rigs on up. Good for just a nice lazy ride with some woods and wildlife. I cut my teeth hunting and wheeling out there.

There's supposed to be a new place in Wildwood which is a pay to ride park that is supposed to have more to offer...I haven't ventured there yet.

There's also Hardrock up here in Ocala which has some good hill climbs etc and is also pay to ride. I used to ride there when they first opened up to more than ATV's...but that's been a while so most of what I know now is second hand.

You could go to Croom which is near Brooksville. Again it's sand and mud much like ONF...I have not been to Croom. My brother-in-law takes his and my nephew's 4 wheelers out there all the time and they love it.

I agree with heading north. Plenty of parks up north. The drive isn't bad and it's definitely worth it. RIP Telico
