A few of the other niche forum sections have thier own little classifieds sticky thread. With how hard it is to find zuk parts these days, especially anything samurai, I think it would be awesome.

Obviously, we'd have to have se rules to try to keep it from turning into a complete cluster fuck. Maybe have people delete thier post once the item is sold or found (if a wanted ad)

I think a sticky thread where we just link suzuki stuff listed in the for sale section or maybe anywhere we see it online.

Similar to the interesting trucks for sale thread in tow rigs only stickeyd

That's a better idea. Even if you make an an ad in the pbb classifieds and link it here. It keeps the replies in the ad, instead of plugging up the sticky thread.

Agreed, I think some sort of classifieds would be a benefit. I just recently gave away almost my entire Zuk pile of goodies so I could move and didn't have the patience to sell locally. Even scrapped some pretty good stuff I'd have given away to folks here.

Got more I'd like to get a little something for before I move.

I'm in Utah, always looking for stuff. You got anything else you wanna part ways with? Drivetrain, or body stuff?

I think if there is a for sale section you need to be a (paid) member to post an ad. Most other forums I visit are that way. Any visitor can see the ad. Basically it stops people from making it a business / mini ebay with no skin in the game so to speak. Want ad section would be very good as well.

I think the main problem is really the parts drying up in certain areas. I know around here I used to see samurais everywhere and every local JY had anywhere from 4 to 12 in at anytime, now a ton of the JY's have scrapped them when metal was high and tweakers picked up all the ones sitting in backyards. Rust killed samurais in my area but drivetrain parts were easy to find.

Definitely, samurai's used to be the cheapest of the cheap way to wheel.

$500 samurai, basically free spring over, 5.xx track kick gears from the junk yard (or splurge on some $5-600 tcase gears) ~$200 on some used 31-32s and you could make a lot of much more built rigs look stupid.

Now people was $4k+ for anything that runs.

No shit, I thought $1100 was a decent deal for that 6.5 case with the snatch and stock case. It was all brand new though.

Just the billet housing is $1100 new?
