ViperMig Welder SALE. 180amps, dual voltage

This unit is pretty fresh to the market. So lets start it off right by having a great sale on a great little welder.
These are made by Razorweld who has been around for 30+ years. They are based out of Australia and built in their own factory in China. The Viper series is entry level machines for the hobbyist that wants a quality machine at an affordable price.

Here is the skinny on this welder.
*Inverter Power Source with 180 amps of output
*Dual voltage. Pigtail adapter included
*Flowmeter, gas hose, ground clamp, 10' mig gun, and stinger included
*1 year warranty on power supply
*Cast aluminum wire feed assembly
*Backburn control & wire advance button inside cabinet
*VRD for MMA/Stick welding
*Only 30 pounds

You can order here. Sale price expires when they are sold out. Get them while you can.

Razorweld Mig welder

Common questions I get:
*Can you adapt a spool gun?
- There is no spoolgun port on this welder. This helps keep costs down. However you can mig weld aluminum through a mig gun. The only spool guns that will work are priced a lot higher than this unit itself

*What size spool will it hold?
- Holds my 10lb spool of wire perfectly. Will not hold a 30lb

*How come I can't find any reviews online?
-It's very new to the market. Everyone whom I've talked to that has one seems to love it. However nobody has left an online review just yet. On amazon a customer has left a few sentences about how much he likes it in the question/answer section.

*Can I get a longer gun?
-Sure can, we can do a 15' gun for an additional $60

*What type of consumables can I use? Will Miller parts work.
-Binzel style consumables. Miller parts will not work, but Lincoln tips (aka tweco mini) will work and are available at any big box or welding store

*How thick can it weld?
- This is always a subjective answer. Everything just depends on thickness, gas type, wire type, pre heat, bevel etc etc. I would say 3/8" max but again I'm not a mig welder, I tig weld mostly

*Can I test it?
-I am in Chicago, so if you are local to me, you are more than welcome to come bring some metal and give it a test drive! I sell a lot of Razorweld stuff after I have tested and used them. As of now, I have this mig, a 195 mig, a tig 200 and just got rid of my vipercut plasma until more get in stock.

Any questions please feel free to let me know.

Just ordered and looking forward to trying it out. Because i'm posted overseas with weight shipping restrictions, it'll be interesting to see how this stacks up to the competition which weighs 2x as much (30 lbs vs 68 lbs) and costs more than 1.5x ($445 vs $700) as much.

Since this is an inverter, do you think it'll have any issues running at 230V/50 hz as opposed to 230V/60hz? Also, what size mig tips (and how many) come with this?

Thanks for your order.
Per the spec sheet it says it will run on 50/60 hz. I am not sure how or if it affects the performance at all, but you should have no trouble running the machine where you are.
It comes with just 1 tip that is .030
