Growth Series Last Time Buy and Removal from Sale

Discontinuation Notice:

Growth Series Last Time Buy and Removal from Sale

This notice is to advise that the TorchmateŽ Growth Series models 2x2 and 2x4 are on a last time buy notice, targeted to be discontinued for sale, effective immediately.

Lincoln Electric is offering a last time buy while supplies last on these models until June 1, 2016. Once stock is depleted, parts sales are available while supplies last on these models.

Additional announcements will be made when similar product transitions are ready.

So the 2x2 and 2x4 are being discontinued as well as parts service if I am reading this correctly.
First you cut the throat of this forum and now discontinue the Growth Series.
This forum is the reason I bought a Torchmate and the Growth series allowed me to financially afford to get into it. Talk about yanking the rug from under us. I guess after 5 years of breathing Torchmate plasma dust it will be time for me to move on as well. When it is time to upgrade or simply replace since parts will no longer be available I will examine all the other table options available including building my own. I was thinking of upgrading my cadlite but maybe it's not worth it if I am going to have to move on to another system.
I am a loyal person to a product I have success with but I guess you have to read the writing on the wall.
Thanks Lincoln

I hope parts and service for anyone who just bought a proprietary Accumove system have a bit longer service life than some of the Growth Series folks. However a lot of the parts that would break on a 2x2 or 2x4 would be similar to the TM4x4 Growth series would it not?

I'm going to cringe the day that "free lifetime tech support" (although it's not free as it was paid for with the purchase) goes the way of the dodo bird.

To clarify, parts exclusive to the 2x2 and 2x4 will be available until depleted. Common parts to other models may have a longer availability.

When the 2x2 was released in 2009 it was very popular, but seven years later demand is very low for this model. The 2x4 has an even smaller demand.

The guys in parts can quickly check availability for any items you may want, even after June 1, 2016

Against my better judgement, I will point out, I was a Pirate4x4 member for over 10 years before I started speaking lawyer.

What is the actual price on a 2x2? I tried asking on your site (live chat) since there are no prices and was told around $5000

Well this blows....

I was looking into buying one... You might want to remove them from the website under the growth option, it is kind of misleading....

So if I buy a 4x4, are you going to discontinue them in a year and tell me I cannot get parts for them once you run out of stock?
