5k trq input aint all that great either.

But 5k hp. That dumb cunt with the prototype super secrete motor that wanted 10 o/d so he could run 120mph on the highway should have used them.

Earlier I agreed to buy a CTD (though the deal is not done) and so of course I started perusing CL, because the best thing to do when one has agreed to spend money is look for places to spend more money...

Anyway, saw this - N/M.

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/c...603059253.html

Ford Cab Over with 855 Cummins

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/hvo/d...614762941.html
1978 Ford runs and drives nice with a Cummins 855 and an Eaton 10 speed.
Truck fires right up every time. In really good shape for being 40 years old.
Got it from a farmer who used it for trips to the elevator. Considered pulling
motor and trans. but thought someone might like the truck just the way it is.
This is a fully operational truck that does get used from time to time....

I dunno man, I would not want to have to try and maneuver that thing in a parking lot or tight neighborhood to try and grab a car, I can't imagine someone doing that for 300k miles

Its a 135ish wheel base, shorter than a f450 tow truck.

300k on it, the previous owner didnt seem to have to much of a prob doing it.

Or else the 2nd/3rd/4th owner added the wheel lift at some point...

Apples and oranges, our 2wd F450 could SMOKE the excursion on turning radius. That thing could nearly turn too sharply.

Interesting, seems like a reasonable price. I have to wonder how crappy the quality of that construction is though.

I am selling my 88 2wd F-350 crew cab long bed with 83000 miles on it. It came from West Virginia so it has no rust. Interior is in decent shape with manual locks and windows. Front fuel tank doesn't work and it needs a battery. Tires have a lot of tread 351 v8 and new Jasper automatic transmission. I am asking $3900. Call or text
