I've been looking for a straight truck to haul equipment with and came accross this C6500. It says its a 2001, but the interior sure looks to be from pre-1995. Did the C6500's keep this old interior until 2001?

Looks like they have at least 3 2001s with that interiour:

^true for ford's, dent side mdts had bump side dash

90s mdts carried 80s interiors for quite a while

I saw a random 70s dodge semi based on a 58 dodge half ton cab too

Fail??

Looking to trade this 2003 Saturn Vue monster truck. Believe it to be setup on a Chevy K5 Blazer frame. Has three quarter ton axles. Setup for hydraulic brakes and steering. A lot of money invested in this truck. Has brand new tires. Just lowered price from 1800 to $1,000 cash or trade. Not really sure what I'm looking to trade for let me know what you have must be worth at least what I'm asking for the truck. Thank you for looking please call show contact info

That steering is exceptionally special on both ends of the ram.

Truly a unique

I paid 1800 for the same truck. Runs but needs rebuild too. Thatís a steal. Down sides are that they are 550 instead of 660cc and the governor is very difficult to defeat. 4th gear is not cut to engage the shift collar so itís super super disabled.

wierd, one would think they'd just do a normal 3spd and gear it stupid deep in the axles
direct is the only free gear after all

just points toward an ls swap

for that price - anything swap it!

reason they did it that way is it's all common parts with the road going models. Just one different gear into same trans to meet US pow speed vehicle regs. SOME of them just had a block off plate for 4th but most seem to be as mine. There's a digit in the VIN that gives it away. decent resources at minitrucktalk.com

I got into a couple of those mini trucks a few years back and started looking into buying engine rebuild components in yen and getting them shipped on a boat. I found someone who was mildly interested in them and got his wife to think it was a good deal I only turned a profit because one of the sellers didn't want the $200 blue ox tow bar in the bed of one. Getting rid of them was like finalizing a divorce or getting off probation, fuck a kei truck

I did the same thing

Only with Toyota 1KZT 3 Lorre turbo diesels with mechanical injector pumps

I bought three in the UK and had em shipped here thought I could sell two of em and make enough profit so the third one I transplanted in my 95 four runner was free

Took me forever to sell them at a slight loss
