Iíll have to check out k2. There are a bazillion breweries all over here, I think they are catching up to the wineries in quantity and quality both.

Put some miles on this pig. Wife got us the obligatory US map for where we’ve taken it. We’re basically professional RV-ers at this point.

Tired of the lack of power in this turd. Finally started adding sticker horsepower. I had more than I thought, and should be up to 6 digit gains in no time!

Just curious if po-po will heckle you for being a "sponsored rig" with stickers and all......

Interesting point, I doubt itíll be an issue. I guess if I do get accused of being sponsored, Iím owed quite a bit of the monies.

Being 2 wheel drive is a major con of this rig. Best I can do is get a winch for the seemingly constant sticky parking jobs. This thing gets stuck on wet grass.

Piece of tube bent 180*, and some 1/2” sections for mounting.

Cut out bumper to fit around winch, and wired my standard control setup. 1 toggle switch on the winch itself for stowing control,

And one switch in the cab. Eng hi-idle switch from a fire truck is a perfect fit.

Superwinch Husky 10k is probably the toughest electric winch I know of. Having a snatch block on hand, I should be able to pull myself out of a sunken parking spot.

Moved to the eastern shore of NC just in time to get clobbered by Hurricane Florence. We planned to ride it out, but decided it was more wise to go visit some friends in the Knoxville TN area. We loaded up Bones in Tortoise, and packed to live off the grid for a couple weeks.
Tennessee was a nice break from reality, we worked out, and paid our rent by dragging driftwood out of the Tennessee river for the locals.

On the way back, we threw an AC belt wich took ripped the CPS harness to shreds. I rebuilt the harness with some spare wiring and misc connectors we tossed in last minute while getting poured on parked on an off ramp.
Little further along we blew a tire, and had to change that in a sushi bar parking lot.

We were within an hour of home, (around hour 28 or our 7 hour trip) and whole driving threw some deep-ish water, the engine died. I cranked the starter in low gear until we made it across. My CPS wiring fix wasn’t exactly waterproof, so it just got wet. Brake cleaner and compressed air dried out the connection long enough for us to get back home before high tide wich was making most of the bridges impassable.

Power was out for another 3 days, so we just powered the freezer with the generator, and lived out of Tortoise.
Glad I built this thing!

rig is inspiring, nice to see you get past a road side whammy that would put most on the hook.

Sucks for wheeling though. Nothing close.

Got a short fuse invite to go wheel New Years weekend at windrock TN. Got our rig home from work, swapped it over to trail mode, and loaded up.
