3rd gen Dodge - shocks/springs

Stock 3rd gen, shocks are toast. Was planning on throwing a set of Bilstein 5100's at it based on quick googling. DD (25miles each way), tow a TT (4500 lbs) a dozen times a year, 300 miles max so far in trips (1 way).

Better shocks (Fox, King, etc) worth it, or would I need springs (and possibly long arms and a track bar) as well to make any noticeable improvement in the ride?

Looking at picking up a DD in a year or so to take miles off the Dodge, but it's not in the budget for this year.

I put Bilsteins on my 04 dually and I'm happy with them. Sometimes they seem stiff, but then I remember I have a dually and it'ts probably not the shocks. I can't believe there would be any justifiable reason to spend big money on Fox or King etc. for a daily driver/occasional towing. Don't drink the koolaid unless you have a good reason to.

The Bilstein 4600's would be nice, same as the stock PowerWagon
