04.5 LLY ZF-6 4WD Cab & Chassis w/ flatbed

I've been happy with mine, other than the DMF. It pulls all of my goosenecks easily (cattle trailer, flatbeds), runs fairly quiet, and fuel mileage is good. No complaints. Also, the only power upgrade is the Edge EZ.

Nice truck. You must be a rancher like me. I'm glad to see that there are a few of us that still drive a 6spd. As to the DMF,I'll recomed DynadroitClutches.com. BTW Some of us have a petition going to try to get GM to keep making 6spd's. We need all the signatures possible. Here's a link to it. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80307

I've got an 03 2500HD Dmax with an auto and love it. Totally stock and does everything I need it to.

I also drive Team RedBulls rig a lot, 03 3500 DRW with the ZF and a full banks setup. The biggest problem has been that stupid flywheel. They have gone through a number of clutches, and it also took out a tranny and a motor. Finally got the dual disc from dynadroit and so far everything has been good. Only a couple trips on it so far, but it's performed flawlessly. I'm sure Dustin will update when we get more miles on it.

I just got my 06 CC SWB LBZ. First diesel and I love it. Will tow the first time Memorial day weekend Denver to Moab. Hopeing for a fast trouble free trip. Considering Banks exhaust and whatever else they come out with. But don't want to blow the new rig.

two dmax/allison trucks currently. box stock engines. drivetrains have never been touched. great mileage, strong pullers, reliable, and quiet. both trucks have pulled way beyond their rated capacity without a problem. got to get a new 350hp. still think it's the best choice and wouldn't consider any other.

i have a 2004.5 lly with an allison, i have the juice on it (it sucks but im not spending more money until a good choice that isnt stupid expensive comes out) i also have the suncoast level 4 trans upgrade, 4" mbrp exhaust without the cat, gauges, boost stick, fingers stick and egr blocked.

i have 50k on it and only a couple minor non drivetrain related issues, tows effortlessly and i have gotten a best of 17.5 mpg towing and 19.5 unloaded

A VA like I have is a good upgrade from an Edge if you already have guages. With it my truck made 476rwhp/1013rwfp on the dyno. It's smooth and pulls like a train.
