Glad you were able to have the luck of the Irish.

Well, I survived the 1300 mile 3 day trip from San Diego to Vancouver, WA. I appreciate all the help and friendship offered/implied/provided along the way.

After Don put brute torque on the steering components, the trip was uneventful, and the rig worked amazingly! It's loud, crude, and proven. It's ready for Kai, and he's going to love it!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) night at ABV? I get off work around 7 and will eat dinner there before heading back to Vancouver. Other than that, I'm up for it anytime I'm not at work!

Haha, thank YOU, Justin for the high school style beer wrenching!

I did the first post swap oil change at Justin's yesterday. I was the source of some well deserved laughter, but the thing has a trailer hitch, an Aqualu storage tailgate and a few more miles on it. It's hard to believe that I was racing to the goal line to get it in the road a month ago, and there are already 3,000 post-swap miles in it. It works great. I gotta say, "thanks Don!" I also appreciate all the help I got with parts, advice, and cheerleading along the way. I will definitely feel comfortable handing Kai the keys when he and his mom arrive up here in June!

Thanks! Those half doors are awesome. I can't wait until it's topless season! I really want to see how much shaking I get from the body without the parachute of a soft top strapped on. Right now it shakes a lot above 60 mph. It still drives straight, so it's not in the steering or wheels/tires. I think it needs new body mount bushings...

It's a 40, it's supposed to feel like it's coming apart on the highway
If you do end up doing new body bushings let me know, I have a set new in the box. I was going to use new bushings too until I started chopping the frame off

Haha. This is one of five owned, one of two driven, and one of one that had enough ass to get over 60 mph. What do I know?!

I'll tKe these body bushings...hit me with a pm, and we can help each other out. Thanks!

Thanks! Unfortunately, the engine revving impatient dick head behind me on the way home from work this morning on a windy mountain road was less than enthusiastic that I was there. Haha. I am totally glad to be back up here and will definitely take you up on this. Hopefully we'll be ready to get out and about this summer!
