Is that your tranny cooler on the left, up front by the headlight? I'm trying to find a good place for mine... (built-in fan model of course)

He may have changed since I last looked, but the engine oil cooler IIRC is what you are seeing, his trans cooler is on the passenger side, up high near where the OEM heater box was.......if I'm wrong he will correct rest assured.....

There are two coolers mounted there........both mounted vertically, one for PS one for Tranny with a single 8" fan on them.

a lot of time and effort has gone into that tube, looking badass.

i must admit, its making them leaf springs look a little archaic. i know they work well, but linking the front end must be teasing your wallet at the moment.

you know its all bull turd, but sometimes you can be such a good bull turder, that you believe it yourself.

im just thinking that if, sometime in the future, money permitting, you run airshocks/coilovers in the front, you would probably mount hoops to the inside of them new fender bars. the way they are, you have the space, but you want a little more support. link across the engine bay/couple more down to the chassis etc

its looking real clean, your fab guy would have many customers in aus.

7.1.....so soon?

I was thinking since I am running 14" travel shocks now, why would I not be able to run 14" coilovers right where these are? The way the shocks are set, there is more than enough uptravel......

We'll see. I need to sell the Family Hauler.......

Wait, your not done. I still see cruiser left
Haven't had time to get online and check it out. Looks great. I like how the front fenders are done with the boatsides...kind of like H8Monday's rig.

Digging it

Hey Nolen, are you just running that aux tranny cooler or do you have another on in your radiator or in front of? Wondering for my personal intrest. We have similar set ups, this is my first auto and I am paranoid its going to overheat.

It goes through the radiator first and then through the b and m cooler w/fan.

What gear will you have in the 60s? When I was 4.88, my tranny heated up bad. Now with the 5.89s it stays cooler much longer.

my 4L60E was running up to 210 or more regularly at first with just the radiator cooler. i put a tru-cool in front of the radiator and it now stays around 160-170. it doesn't have it's own fan, but i put a mechanical fan on the engine.

They are low 7.17s! I had 4.88s but my final drive with the 4l60e was like 64:1 I am use to 140:1. With the 7.17 I am 93:1. I have a big ass tru-cool but was thinking better go through the rad also.
